Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, contacting Reframe Edit, requesting a quote, submitting raw footage, making payment, approving a sample edit or using any video editing service provided by Reframe Edit, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

If a client does not agree with these terms, the client should not use the website or engage Reframe Edit for any service.

Services Covered

Reframe Edit provides professional video editing and post-production services, including but not limited to:

• Video editing service
• YouTube video editing
• Short-form reel editing
• Podcast video editing
• Wedding video editing
• Travel video editing
• Social media video editing
• Tech video editing
• Color correction, basic sound cleanup, captions, thumbnails, motion graphics or related editing support where agreed in writing

Project Scope and Client Brief

Every project is based on the scope agreed between Reframe Edit and the client through email, WhatsApp, proposal, invoice, written quotation or other written communication. The client must provide clear instructions, raw footage, references, branding assets, music preferences, platform requirements, deadlines and any special notes before the work starts.

Any work outside the agreed scope, including extra versions, major style changes, new footage replacement, additional formats, urgent delivery or extra revisions, may be charged separately.

Client Responsibilities

• The client must provide accurate project information and usable source files.
• The client must confirm that they own, control or have legal permission to use all footage, images, music, logos, fonts, scripts, voiceovers, brand assets and other materials shared with Reframe Edit.
• The client is responsible for reviewing drafts carefully and sending consolidated feedback within the revision window.
• The client must not request edits that violate copyright, platform rules, privacy rights, defamation laws or any applicable law.

Payment Terms

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, Reframe Edit charges 70% advance payment before starting work and the remaining 30% before final delivery of watermark-free or final export files.

Full payment must be completed before final files are delivered through Google Drive, WeTransfer or any other agreed delivery method.

Reframe Edit may pause work, withhold drafts, withhold final exports or delay delivery if payment is pending, disputed or not received on time.

Sample Edit Policy

Sample edits are not free. Reframe Edit may provide a sample edit at a discounted price to help the client review editing style, pacing, quality and workflow before starting a larger paid project. The sample edit price may vary depending on project type, raw footage length, editing complexity, required format, deadline and creative requirements.

A paid sample edit does not guarantee final project approval, pricing lock, delivery slot or continued availability unless confirmed separately in writing.

Revisions and Feedback

The included revision limit depends on the project type:

Revision requests must be submitted within 2 days after a draft is shared. If feedback is not received within this period, the draft may be treated as approved or the project may be moved to a lower priority queue.

Revisions cover reasonable changes within the original brief. A complete change of concept, new footage, new script, new direction, new music style, new platform format or a major re-edit may be treated as additional paid work.

Delivery Timeline and Possible Delays

Final files are generally delivered through Google Drive or WeTransfer. Delivery timelines depend on project complexity, client response time, footage size, revision requests, internet transfer speed and payment completion.

Reframe Edit makes reasonable efforts to complete and deliver projects within the estimated timeline discussed with the client. However, all delivery timelines are estimates and may change due to unavoidable circumstances, including but not limited to medical emergencies, electricity failure, internet issues, software or hardware failure, file transfer delays, corrupted files, third-party platform issues, payment delays, delayed client feedback, delayed approvals or any other situation beyond our reasonable control.

If such a delay happens, Reframe Edit will try to inform the client as soon as reasonably possible and provide an updated delivery timeline. Such delay shall not be treated as a service failure, breach of agreement, or automatic ground for refund, cancellation, compensation or legal claim.

Reframe Edit is not responsible for any direct or indirect loss, business loss, campaign delay, publishing delay, platform deadline issue, revenue loss or any other damage caused by such unavoidable or technical delays.

Refund Policy

Once work has started, payments are generally non-refundable because editing time, planning, review, creative direction and production resources are already committed.

A refund may be considered only if Reframe Edit is unable to start the project after receiving payment. Any refund decision will be made at the sole discretion of Reframe Edit and may exclude transaction fees, administrative costs or work already completed.

Raw Footage, Storage and File Deletion

Reframe Edit may keep client footage, project files and exports for up to 10 days after final delivery for revision, backup or support purposes. After 10 days, Reframe Edit may delete raw footage, project files, temporary files, drafts and exports without further notice.

The client is responsible for keeping their own backup of raw footage, final files and important assets.

Portfolio and Marketing Usage

Unless the client requests confidentiality in writing before the project starts, Reframe Edit may use selected completed work, short clips, screenshots, before/after examples, client name, logo or project result for portfolio, website, social media, case studies, proposals and marketing purposes.

If a project is confidential, the client must clearly inform Reframe Edit before sharing footage or making payment.

Intellectual Property

The client retains ownership of original raw footage and client-provided materials, subject to the client having the required rights and permissions.

After full payment is received, the client receives the final exported video files for the agreed use. Reframe Edit may retain ownership of project files, editing methods, presets, templates, workflows and internal creative processes unless separately agreed in writing.

Third-Party Assets

If music, stock footage, templates, fonts, sound effects, plugins or other third-party assets are used, the applicable license terms of those third-party assets will apply. The client is responsible for approving and complying with usage requirements where the asset is selected or provided by the client.

Copyright Claims, Strikes and Client-Provided Content Disclaimer

Reframe Edit provides video editing and post-production services based on the raw footage, images, audio, music, voiceovers, logos, graphics, fonts, scripts, references, brand assets, stock footage, third-party materials and other content provided or approved by the client.

The client is solely responsible for ensuring that all materials shared with Reframe Edit are legally owned, licensed, permitted, royalty-free, copyright-cleared or otherwise authorized for the intended use, including use on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, websites, advertisements, commercial campaigns or any other platform.

Reframe Edit is not responsible for any copyright claim, copyright strike, content ID claim, platform restriction, takedown notice, demonetization, muted audio, blocked video, legal notice, licensing dispute, trademark claim, privacy claim, personality rights claim or any other issue arising from client-provided content, client-approved content or third-party assets selected, supplied, requested or approved by the client.

If the client asks Reframe Edit to use any music, footage, image, template, font, logo, sound effect, reference video, downloaded asset or any other third-party material, the client confirms that they have the required rights, permissions and licenses to use that material. Reframe Edit may use such materials only as part of the editing workflow and does not independently verify ownership, licensing status or platform safety of every asset unless a separate written agreement is made.

The client agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless Reframe Edit, its owner, team members, contractors and service providers from any claims, losses, damages, penalties, legal costs, platform actions, account restrictions, copyright strikes, takedowns or disputes that arise because of materials supplied, selected, approved or published by the client.

Reframe Edit may refuse to use any asset that appears risky, unlawful, misleading, offensive, copied, unlicensed or unsuitable. However, Reframe Edit's decision to edit or include any material does not mean that the material is legally cleared, copyright-safe or platform-approved.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reframe Edit will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or business losses, including loss of revenue, loss of profit, platform rejection, copyright claims arising from client-provided assets, missed upload schedules or reputational damage.

Reframe Edit total liability for any claim related to a project will not exceed the amount actually paid by the client for that specific project.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts and competent authorities of Rajkot, Gujarat, India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
